Generation Health IT Solutions
Jack Wolf is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Generation Health IT Solutions. Generation Health is built around a concept of sharing critical, typically high priced consulting resources at a reasonable cost when and where they are needed, to keep ongoing payroll and benefit costs down while avoiding recruiting and onboarding expenses for key critical areas of expertise. Critical needs arise in all areas of IT and maintaining high quality highly technical individuals can be very costly when they are used at full potential for only a short interval. Whether it’s Infrastructure, Communications Networking, Applications Development or Critical Project management work having the right resources at the right time can be the key to success. Jack’s approach with Generation Health IT Solutions is to share in the resources and schedule them where and when they are needed.
Prior to forming Generation Health ITS, Jack was Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer for Montefiore Health System and he served as President of Montefiore Information Technology (IT). Mr. Wolf launched Montefiore IT in 2001, leading the company's executive management team in bringing a new standard in development to health information technology. His over 30 year career at Montefiore began as Director of IT. He was promoted to Vice President & Chief Information Officer in the early 90s and in 2015 was promoted to Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer.
Prior to joining the health system, Mr. Wolf worked in the Retail and Financial industries. He holds a Master’s Degree in Management/Finance from Rutgers University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from William Patterson University. Mr. Wolf is a member of the Greater New York Hospital (GNYHA) HIT Steering Committee and the Premier Alliance Healthcare HIT Steering Committee.
